Meet the Team

After making a shift from her early career working in business administration to running a late-night licensed venue, Sue re-trained to help support homeless young people and ex-offenders through various issues they may be facing. Sue’s ongoing training has equipped her to cover safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, drug and alcohol issues and physical health.

When Sue is not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit through Yoga, Tai Chi and horse riding.

With a background in Event Management and Digital Marketing, James has been brought onto the Global Grad team to help deliver the UK’s first Travel Study Experience.  James has always had a passion to travel and the desire to experience the world’s cultures.  During his life, he has been fortunate enough to live in multiple countries such as the USA and Germany where he has had the opportunity to adapt to new cultures and situations.

In James’ spare time he loves to pursue several sports and activities including Skiing, Wakeboarding and Rugby Union.

After gaining a degree in Environmental Science and Chemical Engineering, Marcus began a career in Technical Sales winning over £2M of orders per year.  He identified a gap in the market he was selling into, went back to the laboratory and invented a chemical process and become a Patent holder. 

During University he gained a passion for all things online and started building websites in 1995 some two years before Google.  Now involved in digital marketing, e-commerce and search/social optimisation techniques.

For recreation, Marcus is a keen distance runner and cyclist, plays numerous musical instruments including an Indian Sitar (very badly).

Favourite Country to visit: Spain (Especially Barcelona) ??

Louella opted to do university the traditional way studying Human Geography at the University of Leeds with a year abroad at the University of Waterloo, Canada. After graduating she got a working holiday visa for Canada and has spent the past 12 months working in the ski resort of Whistler and leading horse trekking through Moose mountain near Calgary.

Louella has managed to enjoy her two main hobbies of snowboarding and horse riding through her jobs in Canada and can often be found with her nose in a book whether its further study or a good novel.
